I am not sure if you would remember this, but back in 2014 when we began production of our Heberle 33-28, Vecta was paying $4.50 per barrel to dispose of the produced water. We could not surface release the produced water due to the presence hydrocarbons, high sulfates, and high fluorides. As the oil cut dropped, the well soon reached an economic limit and had to be shut in.
After we purchased the water processing plant from your company, we were able to process the produced water to meet the Montana DEQ surface release standards. Once we were able to surface release the treated water, our costs to handle the water AND operate our field dropped significantly per barrel. This has significantly extended the economic life of the well.
An added bonus was being able to release good potable water in an arid landscape. I’ve never dealt with happier landowners than the ones we have in Montana!
Yours very truly,
